Tech Check® Terms and Conditions

Effective as of 18 December, 2014

A monthly subscription to Tech Check, entitles the Client access to Tech Check Services (as defined in the Taverner Technical Services Terms and Conditions of Use) from the moment that the Client activates the service by installing the Tech Check agent on at least one workstation and or server and after the expiry of the one time 30 day free trial period.. By installing the Tech Check agent, the Client accepts and (i) consents to Taverner Technical Services using the Client payment details in accordance with our Privacy Policy, (ii) acknowledges and agrees to Taverner Technical Services Terms and Conditions of Use. If the Client decides to terminate their Tech Check Service (instructions for this can be found here: Cancellation Policy). Any additional installations of the Tech Check service (whether in the Client’s own organization or not) using the provided agent installer will be billed to the Client’s account. Taverner Technical Services reserves the right, in its absolute discretion, to withdraw or to modify the Taverner Technical Services Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice and with no liability. Taverner Technical Services reserves the right to cancel any subscription to Tech Check at any time withour prior notice and with no liability.  In the event of a termination of services, all fees will be prorated to the termination date and due immediately. Taverner Technical Services offers no warranty and accepts no liability for the effectiveness of any services provided.

Changes to Add-on Features

Only pre-authorized persons may make changes to the service Client’s subscribed services. To add or remove a Tech Check add-on please send an email stating the following; the type of add-on, what workstations/servers are needing the change. Changes will be made effective within 3 business days and billing will be pro-rated based on the date that the change has been made effective.


Taverner Technical Services is not liable for any damages and/or losses (including an interruption of the business, loss of information, loss of profits, business reputation and other property damage) related to the usage of Tech Check by the Client.
The Company shall not be liable for any unauthorized access to the Client systems by any third party if such act caused destruction or modification of the Program.
The Company shall not be liable for any complete or partial failure to perform any of its obligations hereunder if this failure is due to force majeure, such as flood, fire, earthquake and other natural disasters, war or acts of war, acts of governmental authority, that occurred after the Agreement was concluded and that is beyond the control of the Company.
